Workshop FAQ

How do I schedule a workshop? – this is a matter of finding dates that work for each of us. If you live within commuting distance scheduling can be even more flexible. Send me an e-mail and we can find out what works.
What kind of experience do I need to have? – A third of the participants have had NO woodworking or tool using experience.
What are the costs involved in the workshop? – The costs vary depending on the piece you decide to build and the type of wood you select. Check out my pricing sheet for more details There’s a deposit of $250 deposit for all workshops.
Can two people participate in a workshop? – Certainly. You and a friend, spouse, etc, can work on one piece of furniture during a workshop.
How do you schedule workshops? – I can hold up to two workshops a month. The workshop usually runs Monday to Friday. I schedule the workshops at the convenience of your schedule and mine. It will last either 3, 4, 5 or 6 days depending on the project.
What about lodging and meals? – I can send you a list of B & B’s that will give you a discount if you’re taking my workshop and also other lodging. I can also send you information on restaurants and other activities in the Chestertown area.
